At Hush, we want to make sure your order reaches you safely. That’s why we offer optional Hush Shipping Insurance at checkout, which provides peace of mind against loss, damage, or theft. Adding insurance is entirely up to you—you can add it at checkout, choose another protection option, or opt out altogether.
Hush Shipping Insurance covers online purchases made directly on hushblankets.ca or hushblankets.com, including packages that are lost or damaged in transit, and packages that are marked as “delivered” but stolen from your address once a police report has been filed. If your order includes insurance, we’ll provide a one-time replacement for eligible claims once the required proof is submitted. Please note that after a replacement is processed, the 60- or 100-night Guarantee for that order will no longer apply.
Claims must be submitted within certain timeframes: for packages marked “delivered,” you can file a claim after 5 days and within 15 days from the delivery date; for packages presumed lost (status not “delivered”), claims may be filed after 7 days (20 days for international orders) and within 30 days of the last tracking update. Shipping Insurance does not cover single orders exceeding $5,000 CAD, multiple claims under the same address, or any orders without insurance where tracking shows the package as delivered (in these cases, please contact the carrier directly). All fees for this service are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise stated, and you may cancel at any time at no charge.
